At our Rundamp;D technology center in Alzenau near Frankfurt am Main, we develop vacuum coating equipment and diverse processes for a wide range of applications. Process Engineer for OLED Vacuum Systems Your key responsibilities as a Process Engineer Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on process engineering experiments. Perform hardware characterization on a variety of systems, within safety guidelines. Troubleshoot complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve process engineering challenges. Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate Rundamp;D team to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Generate internal and external documentation for products, generate presentations and technical reports. Interact with customers to resolve process engineering challenges. Measure film properties and interpret data. Identify, select, and work with vendors and suppliers. Implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation. Your education and experience Master´s Degree in a relevant field of study (chemistry, physics, materials science) or similar. Work experience of 5 years and knowledge of vacuum deposition technology would be a distinct advantage. Independent working style and willingness to take initiatives. Good written and spoken English; any additional language skills, such as Japanese or Chinese would be of particular interest for this role. Willingness for international business trips to customer sites mainly in Asia (approx. 30%) What you can expect from us A variety of tasks in an innovative and international technology company.
